David Andrew John "Andy" Samberg is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, writer, and producer, as well as a member of the musical-comedy group The Lonely Island. He is best known for being a cast member in the NBC late-night sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live (2005–2012), Dale "Cuckoo" Ashbrick in the BBC3 sitcom Cuckoo, and Jake Peralta in the Fox/NBC sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine (2013–2021). He is also well-known for voicing Ham III in Fox's Space Chimps, "Baby" Brent McHale in Sony Pictures' 2009 film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and its 2013 sequel, Jonathan "Johnny" Loughran in the Hotel Transylvania franchise, and Scarlet Spider in the 2023 film Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and Junior the stork in the 2016 WAG animated film Storks.
For Disney, he guest-starred as himself in the Phineas and Ferb spin-off Take Two with Phineas and Ferb. He also voiced Dale in the Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers hybrid film, and Pawbert Lynxley in Zootopia 2. Additionally, he plays Barry in the Searchlight Pictures film The Roses. He also executive-produced the Freeform sitcom Alone Together. For Hulu, he played Nyles in Palm Springs which he also produced.
