General description

Physical appearance

Half-bear and half-butterfly, Butterbear is mostly bear in appearance. She has rubber ducky yellow fur with a white belly, larger wings than the other Wuzzles, and short antennae with flowers on their ends. Although her size is rather diminutive, she is an adult bear.

Personality

She is a keen gardener who is gentle and patient despite the crazy adventures of her friends. Bumblelion has expressed interest in her.

DuckTales 2017

Butterbear appears in the DuckTales reboot episode "The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker!" This version is a nonsapient fusion of a bear and butterfly as a result of touching the Stone of What Was, which Kit Cloudkicker accidentally lost during a skirmish with Don Karnage. Della Duck nicknames the creature a "Bearterfly".
