"Cast Party" is the second segment of the thirty-sixth episode of Milo Murphy's Law. It premiered on April 13, 2019 alongside "Look at This Ship", and is the second segment of the fifteenth episode in the second season.
Synopsis
All guests of Zack's surprise party come with plaster cast, due to extraordinary accidents that seemingly have nothing to do with Murphy's Law.
Plot
Milo, Melissa, and Amanda arrive at school when Zack, with a broken leg, is dropped off by his dad. He then reveals to his friends he was trying interpretive dance, but fell off the stage and got tangled in a harp. He then states he was never doing it again and heads into the school. Milo and the others decided to cheer him up by throwing him a party this weekend. When Zack comes to Milo's house that weekend, Milo and his father had broken their little toes while preparing for the party. Milo then brings Zack to the backyard where everyone else was also wearing a cast. Milo then explains that yesterday everyone somehow broke something.
- Amanda goes first and explains that she was skateboarding to Milo's house when two mice fell from the sky and onto her head, causing her to crash into a bush and brake her arm.
- Doofenshmirtz and Dakota go next and explain they were having ice cream when a sign at the ice cream parlor suddenly fell on them, breaking their elbow and leg respectively.
- Scott reveals he was doing yoga in the sewer when a watermelon suddenly fall on his head and brakes his nose.
- Sara was volunteering at the local one-eyed chihuahua rescue center when a cat came in through the window and the dogs stole the bag of kibble Sara had and chased after the cat. During the chase, the dogs knock a man into a trash can and send him rolling. Eventually, some of the kibble falls out of the bag and Sara slips in it, causing her to break her leg by getting it caught in a newspaper dispenser.
- Melissa reveals she was taking a martial arts class when the same man in the trash can from Sara's story rolls through the window, and she kicks him out when he rolls towards her sensei, resulting in her foot breaking.
- Mort and Chad explain they were taking a rodeo clown class due to Mort's dream of becoming one. During the class, Mort tames the bull with some interpretive dance moves, but before he can get the bull in its pin, a bronze bull statue falls from the roof and causes the bull to go berserk and chase the boys, resulting in both of them breaking a leg.
- Bridgette reveals she was riding a dirt bike when she crashed due to a rock slide and broke her wrist.
- Finally, Milo explains he and his dad were hanging the piñata for the party when a piece of the roof fell off and broke both their little toes and Diogee's tail.
As the stories are told, Zack begins to cheer up. After everyone explains how they all broke something, Zack believes the lesson was never do anything you love, something everyone disagrees with. Doofenshmirtz then claims the real lesson was that terrible things could happen even if your just standing somewhere, so you might do something you love. Melissa agrees with him and tells Zack he needs to get back to interpretive dance, even if he brakes his other leg. As the party continues, it is revealed to the audience that several hours earlier, while Milo was pouring a bowl of cereal, a single piece rolled out the door as Sara was walking out. The cereal piece then attracts the two mice from Amanda's story and are caught by an owl, who releases them when they bite its legs, causing the chain of events that causes everyone to break something.
