Jake Thomas is an American actor, photographer, and director. For Disney, he is known for playing Matt McGuire in the Disney Channel Original Series Lizzie McGuire and in the film The Lizzie McGuire Movie. He also portrayed Jason Stickler in Cory in the House.
Thomas was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and attended Farragut High School, and graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in screenwriting and Japanese.
He is known for his numerous film and television roles, such as portraying a young Hugh Hefner in Hefner: Unauthorized, Eric Miller in the Without a Trace episode, "Wannabe", Kid in 3rd Rock from the Sun, and Jake in The Man Show. Other shows he appeared on include Touched by an Angel, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Without a Trace, ER, Cold Case, House, CSI: Miami, Criminal Minds, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, NCIS, and Storytellers.
