"Legion" is the sixteenth episode of Gargoyles, and the eleventh single-part episode of the series. It aired on September 6, 1995.

Plot

Coldstone is reactivated, but when some sort of virus begins to affect him as Goliath tries to get him to join his clan, his mind has been revealed to have merged with the personalities of two other Gargoyles, and one of them holds a grudge seemingly bigger and more malicious than Demona's.

Trivia

• The title is a reference to the Biblical story of Legion, in which Jesus cured a man who was possessed by evil spirits, and who called himself "Legion, for we are many".
• The creation of Coldstone from parts of other gargoyles is similar to that of Frankenstein's Monster.
• This is the sixth 1990s Disney TVA episode in the series to air as part of The Disney Afternoon that premiered on syndication on Wednesday at 4:30pm after TaleSpin premiering with "Time Waits for No Bear", Darkwing Duck premiering with "Night of the Living Spud", Goof Troop premiering with "You Camp Take It With You", Bonkers premiering with "Out of Sight, Out of Toon" and Aladdin premiering with "To Cure a Thief".
