Springtime is a Silly Symphony that debuted on October 24, 1929. It is part of a season-based mini-series of shorts.
Synopsis
Flowers, ladybugs, centipedes, birds, and frogs dance (and devour each other) in time to the usual blend of themes from the light classics.

- The film's copyright was renewed on December 16, 1957.[2]
- On January 1, 2025, the film entered the public domain in the United States.
- In One Hundred and One Dalmatians, the puppies are seen watching this on television when they are in Hell Hall.
- The music in the latter half of the short was used for the Dance of the Hour sequence in Fantasia.
- On the More Silly Symphonies DVD set, the shot of the frogs dancing (right before the bird shows up) was accidentally looped a second longer, resulting in the rest of the short falling out of sync with the audio.
- In its initial release, this short ended with the large bird falling in the water, and the water dropping the text of the end logo as it receded.
