Tarantula (real name Anton Miguel Rodriquez) is a Marvel Comics supervilain that is set to appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Tarantula was created by Gerry Conway and Ross Andru.

Role in the film

Tarantula appears as one of the villains in the film and faces Spider-Man.

• This is the first time Anton Rodriquez's Tarantula appears in live-action. The Maria Vasquez version appeared in the animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.
