Patsy Cameron is an American author, songwriter, producer, writer, and story editor.
She started off her career in the 1979 at Hanna-Barbera as a writer on Casper and the Angels and The Kwicky Koala Show. While there, she would meet her future husband Tedd Anasti and would work with him as a duo. Their most notable work there would be as writers and story editors on The Smurfs 1981 animated series during the first five seasons.
In 1987, she, Tedd Anasti, and Jymn Magon would team up to develop and showrun DuckTales, where the former two also served as story editors for the first season. Other shows that she and Tedd Anasti showran and produced for Disney include Jungle Cubs and the third season of Timon & Pumbaa. They also served as co-producers, story editors, and writers on The Little Mermaid 1992 television series.
Outside of Disney, she has served as co-author of the Spider Riders novel series, co-executive producer on the TV adaptation of Spider Riders, writer on the sixth season of Alvin and the Chipmunks and Dragon Tales, and co-producer and story editor on the 1989 Beetlejuice television series.
