Raymond Allan "Ray" Harris is an American assistant animator, who worked at Walt Disney Animation Studios from 1978-2001.
He was born in Missouri to Joe and Thelma Harris and is one of six children. The family moved around often before settling in Texas. His father worked for NASA and helped put a man on the moon while Ray developed his interest in art. He received a BFA in Illustration Design from Art Center College of Design and went on to work at Walt Disney Feature Animation for over twenty years.
Harris later began work as a freelance artist and embraced the digital age with clients around the globe through his own studio.
