"Cleanfingers" is the second segment of the thirty-third episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on October 4, 2010 alongside "Colors Royale", and is the second segment of the ninth episode in the second season.
Plot
In the Republic of Korea, Oso is about to take a shower on R.R. Rapide, but he discovers that it's not working. As Oso asks Rapide why there’s no water in the shower, Dotty tells him that he'll find out in today’s training exercise. Once Oso gets up to the roof, Dotty and Wolfie tell him that sometimes the water in Rapide's tank runs out, and he is tasked to refill it with a special hose. First, Oso needs to open the water tank door, which has a picture of a water drop on it. Then he has to insert the hose, turn on the water, and fill it up. Oso finds the water tank door in the middle. Meanwhile in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, a boy named Charlie plays with his dinosaur figures in the playground. He heads back home for dinner but is told to wash his hands before that. However, Charlie doesn't know how to wash his hands. Back in the Republic of Korea, after Oso fills up Rapide's tank, he unplugs the hose with the water still running, gets everyone all wet, and sprays Rapide off the tracks. As Wolfie turns off the water, Paw Pilot calls in a special alert. Mr. Dos informs Oso about Charlie not knowing how to wash his hands. Oso accepts the assignment and is given the three steps for it: rub your hands with soap, rinse your hands, and dry your hands. Whirlybird then picks up Oso while Paw Pilot goes over the code name for the special assignment, named Cleanfingers.
Whirlybird drops Oso off at Charlie's house, and Oso ends up in the bathroom. For the first step, Oso is told that he only needs a little bit of soap to make lots of bubbles. Oso sprays too much soap, and Charlie tells him to press the soap dispenser once. Charlie also gets some of Oso's soap, and Paw Pilot states that they need to rub their hands with the soap for at least fifteen seconds. While Oso and Charlie do so, they sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". Next, Paw Pilot states that to be safe, Oso and Charlie need to have a grown-up help them get the warm water running. Charlie's father then arrives and turns on the warm water. Oso goes to rinse his hands, but he puts his paws too close to the faucet, and Charlie shows him how it's done.
Charlie states that the water has to be turned off so that it isn't wasted. Oso does so, and Oso and Charlie head to the towels. With six seconds until dinner is ready, Oso and Charlie use the towels dry their hands. Oso and Charlie show the latter's father their clean hands. Afterwards, Oso heads back to Rapide. After the tank is full, Oso turns off the water before pulling the hose out of the tank, completing his Rapide water refilling training exercise with what he learned from Charlie. Also, since Charlie's hands were nice and clean for dinner, Oso has earned a Special Assignment Digi-Medal.
