"Thunderbubble" is the second segment of the eleventh episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on January 30, 2010 alongside "Nobody Draws it Better".
Plot
In Alaska near the Yukon River, Oso is in training to help Wolfie get his boat from a passageway into the lake by filling it with water up to a red line. Oso pulls the blue lever to start the water flow and is told to stop adding water once he fills the water up to the red line. Meanwhile in São Luis, Brazil, a boy named Andrew is celebrating his grandparents' 50th wedding. With the musicians setting up for the anniversary dance, Andrew decides to surprise Grandma and Grandpa by blowing bubbles but doesn't know how to do so. Back in Alaska, Oso tries remembering what Wolfie told him to do once the water reaches the red line when a special alert is called, and the passageway gets too much of extra water. Mr. Dos informs Oso about Andrew not knowing how to blow bubbles for his grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary dance. Oso accepts the assignment and is given the three steps for it: make bubble mix, dip the bubble wand, and blow into the circle on the wand. Oso then takes his car to São Luis, Brazil while Paw Pilot goes over the code name for the special assignment, named Thunderbubble.
Once at Andrew's house, Oso tells Andrew what he's here for. For the first step, bubble mix can be made out of liquid dish soap and cold water. Oso and Andrew head to the kitchen, where they are provided dish soap and cold water. Oso is told to add water up to the line but adds too much. Andrew tells Oso to add water to the line and then stop. After Oso does so, he brings two bubble wands; one for himself and the other for Andrew.
They head back outside to dip their wands in the bubble mix and gently stir three times. The third step is blowing into the circle on the wand, but Oso and Andrew blow too hard. With the anniversary dance beginning in nine seconds, they redip their wands and blow softly, making many bubbles as the dance begins.
Andrew's grandmother thanks Andrew for the bubbles, and Andrew thanks Oso for the help. Oso then heads back to Alaska, where he fills the water up to the red line and stops when it gets there. This allows Wolfie to get his boat to the lake and Oso to earn his Waterworks Training Award. Also, since Andrew blew bubbles for his grandparents' anniversary, Oso has earned a Special Assignment Digi-Medal.
