"License to Chill" is the first segment of the seventeenth episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on July 18, 2009 alongside "GoldenFly".
Plot
On R.R. Rapide, Dotty tells Oso that sometimes special agents need to change the color of their car, so that no one recognizes them. So Oso is tasked to paint a car black. Dotty tells Oso to wait for the paint to dry before he can touch the car. Oso then goes to get his white coveralls, so he doesn't get paint all over himself. Meanwhile in Mumbai, India, a boy named Tyler and her mom are visiting Lily, who is sick in bed. She claims that the medicine tastes yucky, and Tyler decides to get her a frozen juice pop to help take away the medicine taste. However, there are no frozen juice pops left, and Tyler decides to make some frozen juice pops for Lily, but he is not sure how to do so. Back on Rapide, Oso finishes painting the car black, but he gets his paws on it, causing some of its original color to appear again. He tries remembering what Dotty told him to do before touching the car when Paw Pilot calls in a special alert, then he sprays himself and Rapide's cargo car. Mr. Dos informs Oso about Tyler not knowing how to make frozen juice pops. Oso accepts the assignment and is given the three steps for it: fill an ice cube tray with juice, put in toothpicks, and freeze the juice pops. Rapide then takes Oso to Mumbai, India, while Paw Pilot goes over the code name for the special assignment, named License to Chill.
Oso then uses his jetpack to head to Tyler's house. For the first step, Tyler states that there are empty ice cube trays in the pantry. Oso goes through different supplies and ends up carrying an ice cube tray with his left paw. Afterwards, Oso gets orange juice from the refrigerator. Tyler pours the juice while Oso holds the tray still. Tyler then brings toothpicks from a shelf, and Oso tries to put one in but is told to cover the tray with plastic wrap and poke the toothpicks through the wrap to keep them straight.
Tyler sees the plastic wraps in a shelf and mentions that the boxes have sharp edges. So, Tyler's mom helps with the step, and all of the toothpicks are put in and standing straight. Wit Lily due to take her medicine in seven seconds, Tyler opens the refrigerator and Oso puts the juice pops in. Tyler tells Lily about Oso helping him make the frozen juice pops. Lily tells Oso that he can't take frozen juice pops right away; he needs to wait for them to freeze. Tyler's mother is sure that the juice pops will be ready in time for Lily's next dose of medicine.
Oso then uses his jetpack to head back to Rapide. After he finishes painting the car black, Oso waits for the paint to dry, which takes 10,800 seconds or three hours. Afterwards, the drying is complete, and Oso earns his Car Painting Training Award. Also, since Lily had a juice pop once it was frozen, Oso has earned a Special Assignment Digi-Medal.
