"License to Clean" is the first segment of the second episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on April 11, 2009 alongside "On Her Cousin's Special Salad".
Plot
Dotty trains Oso to find a red jewel in a cave. She gives him a safety rope while he looks around. To look for things, Oso is provided a helmet, placed on his head, containing a flashlight before heading in the cave. Meanwhile in Nova Scotia, it's almost time for a boy named Jake to head to his soccer game, but he can't find his other shoe, as his room's a mess. So, he is tasked to clean the place up but doesn't know how to do so. Back in the cave, Oso tries remembering how to see in the dark when a special alert is called from Nova Scotia, and then he falls off a cliff and ends up dangling. Mr. Dos tells Oso about Jake having trouble finding his soccer shoe and his shoe a mess. Oso accepts the assignment, and is given the three steps for it: put the books on their shelves, put the toys in their boxes, and put the clothes in their drawers. Whirlybird then reels Oso out of the cave, and Paw Pilot goes over the code name for the special assignment, named License to Clean.
Back at Nova Scotia, Whirlybird drops Oso off at Jake's house. For the first step, Oso tries to place a book on its shelves, but Paw Pilot tells him that some are tall and others short. With the shelves also not the same size, Oso places the small books on the bottom shelf and the tall books on the top shelf, and Jake does the same. For the second step, there are three kinds of toys: cars, dinosaurs, and action figures. There are also boxes for each kind of toy. Oso and Jake place the dinosaurs in the blue box, and cars in the red box, and the action figures in the green box. Oso then trips on a car, which heads underneath a bed. Since it's took dark to see, Jake tells Oso to use a flashlight to see in the dark, and Oso finds the car and puts it in the red box.
For the third step, socks belong in the top drawer, shirts belong in the middle drawer, and pants belong in the bottom drawer. Oso and Jake place the clothes in the drawers they belong to. With ten seconds until Jake heads to his soccer game, he and Oso work together to put the remaining clothes away, and Jake finds his missing soccer shoe.
Jake then heads to his game while Oso returns to the cave to find the red jewel. Using the flashlight, Oso is able to see in the dark and find the red jewel, earning his Cave Exploring Training Award as a result. Also, since Jake got to his game, Oso has earned a Special Assignment Digi-Medal.
